At a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees on December 15, the board approved Resolution 12-1, a plan and budget for remodeling and expanding our library. The board also enacted Ordinance 11-6 requiring that a proposition to issue library bonds to pay for the expansion project be placed on the March 20, 2012 ballot.

This document describes the need for a larger library building and outlines what that larger building should look like. It is intended to inform architects of the wishes of the Board of Trustees concerning the design of the future Smithton Public Library.
